Custom Gummies
Customise the ingredients, shape, colour, and flavour of your gummies.
Gummies are the perfect vehicle for taking active ingredients. Gummies are easy to take and people associate them with joy and happy moments.
How can I develop a custom gummy?
Development costs for a unique gummy are €800 per SKU. We establish a formulation uniquely for your company, based on your needs and wishes. The development fee will be credited back to your account once you place an order of 1000 units or over.
Targeted health claims / effects
Before choosing the active ingredient, we establish the claims or effects your gummy should achieve. Claims are associated with a certain amount of active ingredient per serving. The European EFSA (or FSA for the UK) maintains a database of claims and ingredients.
Ingredients
Taking into consideration the targeted claims, developments start by defining the project’s goal. Example: ‘gummy containing recommended daily dosage of spirulina in 3 servings’. On average, 500 mg of active ingredient can be mixed into a 2,5 gram gummy.

Product options
Custom gummy development
We provide a number of choices for the development of your custom gummy.
The active ingredient plays an important role here. If the active ingredient has a taste, then the flavour must be complementary. We play an active role if needed in this phase of the development.
Natural food colourings can be used to give the desired colour to a gummy. If the active ingredient and flavouring already colour the gummy, this influences the final result. A light gummy can be made different or darker by adding colour.
For unique shaped gummies, we design and order custom moulds when needed. There is a one time fee of around €4.000 associated with casting new moulds.
After we have decided and signed off on our common development brief, we start purchasing the needed ingredients, and planning production of your first sample batch. We experiment until the recipe is stable, and then produce samples for you to try. Depending on the lead times for any unique ingredients, this process takes between 3 and 6 weeks.
After having tried our samples, we organise a feedback session. Your feedback and comments will be discussed, and a final product brief is created. The recipe will be adjusted based on the feedback.
After the recipe has been adjusted based on feedback, we plan production of the final samples. These samples are shipped to you for reference, and will form the basis for your order.
Gummies can be developed with a replacement for sugar, such as maltitol.
Frequently Asked Questions
When a full spectrum CBD extract is winterized and purified, some of the THC is removed and also some of the acidic cannabinoids decarboxylate. It still retains a lot of cannabinoids and terpenes but it’s not technically a full spectrum extract. We call this a broad-spectrum extract.
We offer both traditional gelatin and vegan gummies at different CBD strengths. We are happy to send you a sample so you taste them and check the quality before placing an order.
For orders over 5,000 units, we can develop gummies with any additives you require. Please be aware that this may incur some product development costs to ensure your additive blends well and is also stable.
White label is when you use one of our pre-existing tried and tested products. We provide the label & packaging templates and you provide the design. You will receive a finished product that has your logo and branding on it. This gives you quick entry to market with minimal investment.
Private label allows you more creativity. You may choose to have a custom blend that is uniquely formulated for you with other added ingredients or flavours. Private label can also give you more flexibility regarding the label design and outer packaging. For private label you can use different containers and bottles, and have custom made outer packaging with various print embellishments.

Our cosmetic program is produced under: 22716-2007 cosmetics GMP (good manufacturing practice).
Our conventional oil CBD oil program is produced under ISO 22716-2007 cosmetics GMP (good manufacturing practice) and bottled under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2005 regimes.
Our CBD Isolate, Distillate and Water Soluble products are produced under ISO 9000 and GMP.
Any in-office sampling or repacking is done in an ISO-5 modular cleanroom (latest validation on 16-7-2020).
