CBD veiligheidsadvies januari 2020<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Met de groeiende belangstelling voor consumentenproducten die zijn afgeleid van cannabis en de bestanddelen ervan, waaronder cannabidiol (CBD), hebben zowel de FDA (Food and Drug Administration, VS) als de FSA (The Food Standards Agency, VK) begin 2020 veiligheidsadviezen en waarschuwingen uitgebracht over de inname en verkoop van CBD-producten.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

UK - FSA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De FSA heeft haar eerste advies over CBD-koorts gepubliceerd en heeft ook een waarschuwing gestuurd naar de producenten in de industrie, waarin ze hen aanspoort om geldige toelatingen voor nieuwe voedingsmiddelen in te dienen voor 31 maart. 2021 Als de producenten de informatie niet leveren, zullen hun producten uit de schappen worden gehaald.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In het veiligheidsadvies van de FSA staat dat CBD riskant kan zijn voor kwetsbare groepen, zoals mensen die zwanger zijn, borstvoeding geven of medicijnen gebruiken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het advies voor gezonde volwassenen is niet meer dan 70 mg per dag.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

VS - FDA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De FDA heeft slechts \u00e9\u00e9n medisch CBD-product goedgekeurd, Epidiolex, een geneesmiddel op recept voor de behandeling van bepaalde vormen van epilepsie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Met betrekking tot CBD in voedingsmiddelen stelt de FDA dat het illegaal is om CBD op de markt te brengen door het toe te voegen aan een voedingsmiddel of het te labelen als voedingssupplement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De FDA maakt zich zorgen over cannabisproducten in het algemeen voor kinderen, zwangere vrouwen en vrouwen die borstvoeding geven. Hoewel ze begrip hebben voor het feit dat ouders proberen een behandeling voor hun kinderen te vinden, benadrukken ze dat het gebruik van ongeteste drugs onvoorspelbare gevolgen kan hebben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voor cosmetica heeft de FDA geen eisen met betrekking tot de inhoud van CBD of cannabis afgeleide producten in het algemeen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De legaliteit van CBD-producten hangt dus af van het beoogde gebruik en hoe het wordt ge\u00ebtiketteerd en op de markt gebracht. De FDA communiceert met de plaatselijke functionarissen, beantwoordt vragen over de vereisten en helpt consumenten en producenten om het CBD-landschap op staatsniveau te begrijpen en moedigt aan om samen te werken met partners op het gebied van staats- of plaatselijke regelgeving.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
