Cannabis in Frankrijk<\/a><\/span>\u00a0is illegaal voor persoonlijk gebruik, maar blijft een van de populairste illegale drugs. Beperkte soorten van cannabis afgeleide producten zijn toegestaan voor medisch gebruik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frankrijk blijft echter zijn bevolking controleren met een archa\u00efsche (en steeds meer ge\u00efsoleerde) houding tegenover cannabis. In feite is de huidige wet min of meer ongewijzigd gebleven sinds de invoering in 1970. De wet stelt dat 'bezit van cannabis' kan worden bestraft met maximaal een jaar gevangenisstraf plus een boete van maximaal \u20ac 3.750!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Medicinale cannabis in Frankrijk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2014 gaf de Franse regering de\u00a0groen licht voor Sativex<\/a><\/span>, een op cannabis gebaseerde behandeling voor multiple sclerose, te verkopen in Franse apotheken. Deze stap kreeg veel bijval van de medische gemeenschap, die vond dat het de deur had kunnen openen naar volledige legalisatie van medicinale cannabis in de toekomst. Drie jaar later, als gevolg van een prijzenoorlog, is het medicijn echter nog steeds\u00a0nog niet aangekomen op de Franse kust<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vanaf 8 juni 2013 mogen cannabisderivaten in Frankrijk worden gebruikt voor de productie van medicinale producten. De producten kunnen alleen worden verkregen met een recept en zullen alleen worden voorgeschreven wanneer alle andere medicijnen hebben gefaald om het lijden effectief te verlichten. De gewijzigde wetgeving decriminaliseert \"de productie, het vervoer, de uitvoer, het bezit, het aanbieden, de verwerving of het gebruik van farmaceutische specialiteiten die een van deze (van cannabis afgeleide) stoffen bevatten\", terwijl alle cannabisproducten moeten worden goedgekeurd door het Agence nationale de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du m\u00e9dicament (ANSM).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Is CBD-olie legaal in Frankrijk? Het korte antwoord is ja. CBD-hennepolie met minder dan (tot) 0,2% THC is toegestaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De minister van Volksgezondheid kondigde in november 2017 aan dat de aanwezigheid van CBD in producten voor openbare consumptie werd toegestaan op voorwaarde dat het maximaal 0,2% THC (het psychoactieve element in cannabis) bevat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In juni 2018 volgens een rapport in De Onafhankelijke<\/a><\/span>De Franse regering heeft toegegeven dat ze op het verkeerde been is gezet door de snelle toename van bedrijven die het laaggedoseerde product aanbieden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agn\u00e8s Buzyn, de minister van Volksgezondheid, zei dat de winkels een bedreiging vormen voor de volksgezondheid omdat ze drugsgebruik aanmoedigen. Ze zei dat ze bestonden omdat ze gebruik maakten van een wettelijk achterpoortje dat ze beloofde te sluiten, en voegde eraan toe dat de regering een manier zou vinden om ze allemaal binnen enkele weken uit de handel te halen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"We vechten niet als een gek om ervoor te zorgen dat de Fransen stoppen met het roken [van tabak] zodat ze kunnen beginnen met het roken van cannabis,\" zei ze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
